Angela Queen
Freelance Interpreter
Independent Contract Interpreter
I have been interpreting as a profession since 2005, but I began my lifelong journey of learning ASL and Deaf culture in 1991. I am the mom of two Deaf daughters and one hearing granddaughter. I also foster Deaf children. I am graduating this year with my master’s in social work from Gallaudet University.
I am originally from the St. Louis, Missouri area and moved to Tulsa in 2005.
I love facilitating communication for the Deaf community and my favorite thing to do is ASL to English interpreting. I love bringing sound to voices that have been silenced for too long.
