Calista May Heard holds an Oklahoma sign language interpreter certification, National Interpreter Certification, and Oklahoma Supreme Court Certification. She currently works as a contract interpreter and serves on a variety of advisory committees and boards.  She graduated from the OSU-OKC interpreter training program; UCO with a bachelor’s degree; and Liberty University with a master’s degree in executive leadership.  She also serves the signing and mental wellness community through facilitating Mental Health First Aid classes.  Her passion is creating opportunities for people to experience personal learning and application through reflection, discussion, hands-on activities, and straight forward concepts.
