Misty Moreland Cook QA 5/5

Independent Contract Interpreter

Misty discovered she was a CODA only after taking her first Deaf Culture and History course. While she had interpreted throughout her life, it was in 2010, after completing an ITP and earning an associates degree in Interpreting, that she started interpreting professionally. She further pursued her education and graduated from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock in 2013 with a degree in ASL/English Interpreting. As a Deaf-parented interpreter (DPI), her specialties lie in sign-to-voice, mental health, and medical interpreting. Her passion for yoga helps her maintain a balance between her family, career, and the gratitude she feels for working alongside the Deaf and hard of hearing community.
