Neely Housel QA 4/4

Independent Contract Interpreter

Neely received her AAS in Sign Language Interpretation from OSU-OKC in 2021 and currently holds an Oklahoma QAST: IV/IV and Texas BEI: Basic. She is now pursuing a BEI-Advance as well as CASLI’s national certification. In the future, Neely plans to devote her efforts towards interpreting in medical environments with a focus on patient advocacy.

Neely’s passion for the community and ASL started at an early age after meeting and befriending a local Deaf family as well as navigating her own hearing loss. Since graduating, she has enjoyed working freelance in diverse settings including K-12, various community environments, as well as local film projects. In her spare time, she enjoys collecting an assortment of hobbies such as music, cooking, reading, over-watering her house plants, and spending time with her ill-behaved dog.
